I successfully completed a 37 year career as a High School and Middle School Science Teacher, Department Chairman, and Assistant Principal from 1975 until 2014. I also attended Yeshiva College of South Florida and have served as Torah Reader, Hebrew Teacher, Chazzan, and Spiritual Leader of various synagogues throughout South Florida. I also completed my Masters Degree in Biochemistry and Science Education from Florida International University in 1983.
I have been married to my lovely wife Mayna since 1977 and we have 3 wonderful children: Rachel, Aaron, and Joshua and 5 amazing grandchildren: Itay, Hannah, Emma, Abby, and Olivia.
I have served as Ritual Director, Bnai/Bnot Mitzvah instructor and 7th grade Hebrew instructor for Temple Torat Emet since January of 2015.
I decided to complete my Rabbinical studies and was accepted into the accelerated track at Yeshiva/Mesifta Adas Wolkowisk in October 2019. I completed my Rabbinical studies in July 2020 and am excited to embark on the Rabbinic Leadership of Temple Torat Emet beginning August 1st, 2020.”
