TTEUSY, with the mascot of the Loony Toon Tasmanian Devil, is Temple Torat Emet’s chapter of youth group. The active chapter is close to 40 annual members strong and is run by an elected student board that is overseen by the Director of Youth Activities. Programs are at least monthly and participate in temple-wide holiday celebrations as well.
Whether it be social action, religion, sports, games, Israel, crafts, or culture, there are events for every interest.
United Synagogue Youth and Kadima inspire Jewish youth to explore, celebrate and practice ethical values, Jewish Living, Zionism and community responsibility based on the ideology of the Conservative Movement.
USY is Conservative Judaism’s premiere youth group for high school students, run by the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. With over 350 local chapters, USY boasts a membership of thousands of teens throughout the United States and Canada. It teaches Jewish youth the values and skills they need to become exceptional leaders in their religious and secular communities all through fun, social programming. Through year round programming and domestic and international travel opportunities, USY provides meaningful, immersive Jewish experiences, helping teens integrate Jewish rituals and values into their everyday lives.
